How to have a great party:

  • Use a color theme of one, two, or three colors for plastic utensils, paper cups, paper plates, napkins, and decorations.

  • Make your own invitations. You can design invitations using a computer and send them by email or regular mail. Include the theme, time, date, address, and RSVP phone or email.

  • Have a party at home, in the backyard, or at a park.

  • Use decorations and props and your creativity to fit the party's theme.

  • Get help from family or friends to assist with preparing food, decorating, activities, serving, and cleanup.

  • For party food, have a themed cake or cupcakes, snacks, and something healthy like fruit.

  • Keep the party at a budget, you don't need to spend a lot of money to have a fun party.
